Olive Wood Spoon and Spatula Set

CA$64.99

A functional kitchenware set that’s also wonderful to look at!

One olive wood spatula measuring approximately 12 inches in length. The head is just over 2 inches wide and angled for a comfortable user experience.

One hand-carved olive wood cooking spoon approximately 12 inches in length. The 2 inch wide bowl showcases the gorgeous contrasting rings of the olive wood.

All pieces are sanded until impossibly smooth and finished with a food-safe mineral oil and coconut oil conditioner.

Maker’s note: Carving olive wood is a beautiful sensory experience—it’s super fragrant! When it’s worked, the wood smells sweet and spicy at the same time. Carving the bowl of the spoon was a dream, but olive is a bit unruly and carving the handle proved to be much more challenging. The wood really decided how it wanted to be! After a thorough sand, these may be the smoothest pieces I’ve made.
